On October 2, 2026, Oracle announced a commitment to subscribe to a portion of the existing Point Beach Nuclear Plant’s electricity generation, which it said is expected to save Wisconsin utility customers approximately $300 million in fuel costs. Oracle said the commitment builds on Project Lighthouse, its data center development in Port Washington, and that it will fully fund Project Lighthouse’s energy costs. We Energies said full details will be submitted to the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin in the coming months. The subscription remains subject to the commission’s approval. Neither release states a megawatt figure.
