DeepSeek’s API updates page says that on October 17, 2026 V4.1 Flash was upgraded to DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017, with the web and app models updated as well. The model ID remains deepseek-flash, and pricing and calling method are unchanged; DeepSeek recommends DeepSeek Harness 0.2.1-rc.1 or later.
