Meta introduced Muse Image on July 7, 2026, calling it, with Muse Video, the first media generation models developed by Meta Superintelligence Labs. Muse Image handles text-to-image generation, instruction-following, single-image editing and multi-reference composition, and can use search and coding tools and work with Muse Spark. Meta said it was available that day in the Meta AI app and on meta.ai, in Instagram Stories in the US and in WhatsApp in limited countries, with Facebook to follow. Generated images carry Meta’s invisible Content Seal watermark. Meta named no API model ID. Muse Video, announced alongside it, was described as an early preview coming soon, so it has no record here yet.
