What this page covers
Google Cloud Service Health lists incidents for Google Cloud products, including Gemini on Vertex AI. The page shows "Operational" when Google's feed has no open incident for those products. The consumer Gemini app is not listed in that feed.
How to read the status
- Operational: Google reports no open incident for Gemini on Google Cloud.
- Degraded or partial problems: Google reports an open incident of low or medium severity.
- Major outage: Google reports an open incident of high severity.
If Gemini is not working for you but the status is operational
- Reload the page or restart the app, and try another browser, device or network to rule out a local problem.
- For the API, read the error code your request returns and Google's documentation for it: quota and authentication errors are not outages.
- Check Google Cloud Service Health again a little later: new incidents appear there first.
