How to read the status
- Operational: Perplexity reports no problem.
- Degraded or partial problems: some requests fail or are slow, or one part of the service is affected.
- Major outage: Perplexity reports the service, or a main part of it, as unavailable.
- Under maintenance: planned work announced by Perplexity.
If Perplexity is not working for you but the status is operational
- Reload the page or restart the app, and try another browser, device or network to rule out a local problem.
- For the API, read the error code your request returns and Perplexity's documentation for it.
- Check the Perplexity status page again a little later: new incidents appear there first.
